Lubna Al Lahham

Lubna Al-Lahham is an architect and artist who studied Fine Art in Mohanna Durra’s “the Ministry of Culture” in Jordan .

Lubna’s main work interests are in abstraction and returning to the human and the unconscious. The artist paintings are just at the intersection of landscape and abstraction. She is interested in creating space and distance that feel like the familiar world around us imbued with ambiguity and abstraction. In her world of paintings, she is seeking that the plains and the visual colors would intersect, overlap, and pile-up. Eventually, they would create a sense of visual distance and depth which we can identify with.
In 2020, Lubna won the ‘Seven Painters’ Orfali Gallery Award in a mono-print artwork.
