Stéphane Vereecken

Stéphane Vereecken’s artistic career has led him to start exhibiting his Polaroids and paintings on wood at a very young age in a variety of locations. He has participated in personal and group exhibitions in several cultural centers in Brussels, at the birth of Galerie Damasquine from 1996 to 2001 and in Belgium. Several English, Belgian, French and American publications and magazine have recently taken interest in his work and covered his artistic journey and career. His classic studies in several artistic disciplines have given him a multidisciplinary vision, where he explores the universes of realism and surrealism and merges them in one. His work focuses on photography, but he also incorporates paintings and drawings within them, leaving his audience with feelings of unrest and fascination. He says: “My photographs are a perpetual change in the time and future of the human”.
