Studio-X Amman presents X-Talk #42 by Omar Tesdell (Birzeit University) Entitled:
Shadow Spaces: On landscape and plant life in Palestine

Lecture Abstract

Landscapes are generally considered to be merely the stage for other processes, including plant and human life. However, this lecture shows how landscapes shape and are shaped by agro-ecological life. By exploring the spaces where foraging and farming persist in Palestine, the lecture shows how Palestinian agro-ecologies are part of, and not distinct from their landscapes.
